What does the BTH system include?
The BTH Lighting system is a complete permanent outdoor LED package everything, needed in one box. It includes the RGBW LED strip with 300 individually addressable nodes across a 197-foot run, a color-matched low-profile aluminum mounting track, a weatherproof controller housing, a 24V power supply, and all wiring and connectors. App access is included from day one, with full compatibility with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Control4. Nothing is sold separately, the hardware, control system, and software come together as one complete solution.
What surfaces can it be installed on?
BTH Lighting installs on any flat or slightly curved exterior surface. The most common placements are rooflines, eaves, fascia boards, and soffits but the system works equally well on columns, pergolas, deck perimeters, fencing, window frames, and commercial building facades. The aluminum mounting track is available in multiple finish colors and custom lengths so it adapts to virtually any exterior profile, sitting flush to the surface and blending into the building during the day.
What's the operating temperature range?
BTH Lighting is rated to operate from −40°F to 140°F. Every node is fully sealed against water, dust, UV exposure, rain, snow, and extreme temperature swings in both directions. The housing materials are UV-resistant and won’t yellow, crack, or degrade over time even after years of continuous outdoor exposure. This makes BTH suitable for any climate across the US, from desert heat to deep winter conditions.
Does it work with smart home systems?
Yes. BTH Lighting integrates with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Control4 out of the box. Homeowners can control colors, scenes, and schedules using voice commands or include the lights in whole-home automation routines. Beyond smart home integration, the BTH app also offers its own built-in zone control, scene builder, and scheduler so the system works just as well for homeowners who don’t use a smart home platform at all.
What happens if a single node stops working?
Each node in the BTH system connects via plug-and-play waterproof connectors. If a single node ever needs replacing, it disconnects and snaps back in without rewiring or removing any other part of the run. The entire system stays in place one bad light never brings everything down. This design is one of the main reasons BTH installations require near-zero maintenance and callbacks after the initial install.
What warranty does BTH carry?
Every BTH Lighting system comes with a limited lifetime product warranty. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and product failures under normal outdoor use conditions. BTH is built to stay outside permanently the limited lifetime warranty backs that promise.
